About Tuscany Trail
The Tuscany Trail is not a race: it is a self-supported bike journey with no ranking, everyone at their own pace and sleeping wherever they end up. The original route is about 460 km with 5,900 metres of climbing; there is a variant that takes in Elba and a shorter route, the Newbie, of 160 km over two days.
Start and finish are in Campiglia Marittima, the municipality next to San Vincenzo. Riders coming from far away often look for a bed the night before the start and somewhere to rest when they get back: we are a few kilometres away.
For entries, rules and GPS tracks, only the organisers' website counts.
